Project Name : Korica Web
Task Scope : Web Design Development
Category : Commercial
Completion : Jan. 2025
I was in charge of the web design and development for the Korea Research Institute of Contemporary Art (KoRICA). Through data analysis, I chose <Connection> and <Maximization> as visual languages representing KoRICA, and proceeded with design and development based on the concept of <Connection and Maximization: Considering Color Combinations>. Specifically, I emphasized differences between pages and materials through color and lines. On a dynamically functioning web, I thought users could visually recognize selected pages and materials via color combinations. Furthermore, rather than localized connections using only points or lines, I judged that the image of <Meeting> and <Intersection> arising from overlapping planes with planes, and planes with lines, better aligned with KoRICA's ethos of connecting our culture and art to the world.
