In the project visualization stage, the work proceeded by establishing four keywords: <Expression of Flow>, <Clear Directionality>, <Dark-toned Colors>, and <Complex state of gliding>. Looking closely, the four keywords can be re-categorized into form and color. For the form, I thought an image should express flow internally, and there must be an ultimate direction that flow tries to communicate. Thinking about the state of <gliding>, it has the characteristic of <having direction and movement, but no active motion>. Therefore, I tried to express the complex characteristics that the final directional state possesses—that is, the simultaneous dynamic and static state—through the thickness of each form. Regarding color, the form was set conservatively while flow was intended to be expressed through color. In the early and middle parts, I tried to express a wandering, resisting image using narrow and contrasting colors. Toward the latter half, I tried to express a stable sense of form using wide, similar-toned bright colors.
